It was directed by William Berke, who had served as producer for the previous entry in the series, 1946's ''The Falcon's Alibi''. ==Plot== Tom Lawrence (Tom Conway), The Falcon is about to go on a fishing holiday with his friend Goldie Locke with Goldie getting Tom to swear off thinking of women or crime. He breaks his vow when he sees a woman abducted in a taxi cab. Rescuing the damsel in distress, Louise Bragaza, she tells the Falcon that she is the target of kidnappers due to her father's invention of a process to manufacture synthetic diamonds.
